Since I'm always late, whatever I do, I don't know how my ICC assessment will be. Anyway, with this course I think we've learnt that meeting new cultures can be really a challenge in the sense that the features of your being are to be continuously mediated by intercultural awareness. To reach that awareness is difficult though. It was really nice chatting with our American peer, especially about what they do on their free time, more or less what we do here but it seems different anyway. I didn't find any problems in discussing with our peer, she was very open minded and ready to explain whatever could come to our minds. I think such language and cultural exchanges should be improved and made more frequent, because, despite one might think, Italians don't travel much, and being in contact with a foreigner peer through skype is surely something useful.
