e-tivity 9 PLE

Here it is. This should be a sketch of my personal learning environment. It has been rather difficult because the concept of PLE is both concrete and theoretical. I had to put these two features together to pull out my PLE. I looked at some peers' PLEs because I didn't get how to do it properly. But no more hesitation...Check it out!!!

My Personal learning Environment can be sketched as follows:

Academic learning activities:
University classes;
CLA activities (Tandem Learning; “Conversation in English” meetings;)
Exams.

Non-academic learning activities:
Using the Internet for linguist reasons (with skype; YouTube and so on)
Private tuition.
Erasmus events (When I can attend them)
Travelling abroad (When I can afford it)
Cultural events: concerts and movie discussions

The things I run into when I am dealing with academic or non-academic activities are:
New words and expressions
Movies
Song lyrics
Web tools and sources
Books
People (teachers; students; friends)

I usually file those things that I find useful from a linguistic point of view. In doing so, I have created a virtual learning environment which consists of:
An archive based on word or excel files where linguistic items are systematically stored .
A video archive; consisting of DVDs and video files.
An Audio archive (song and book mp3s).
