Keyframing effects in ToonBoom Animate.
Example. Fading rectangle
Draw a green rectangle 1
Extend the drawing up to the 60th frame
(Press F5-the number of frames is optional) 2
Open module library window and Network
window
Drag the transparency effect icon into
the Network window
Keep pressed the ALT key and put the
effect icon between "drawing" and "Composite".
The effect icon is now linked between
Drawing and Composite. 3
Now, Go to the time line and open the
transparency level; put key frames where you are going to set the
effect's variations, pres F6. 4
Go over the first key frame and double
click on the transparency level label. A new window is shown where
you can set parameters for each keyframe.
Click on the white squares in this new
window to set the value for every single key frame. 5
To see the effect, in the camera view
window, click the pre-render icon or just render the video. 6
